Brass ringThe ring was turned down from brass round stock. I cut the outer diameter cut first, and then bored out the inner diameter. I also cut a small groove on the interior surface of the ring to hold the polycarbonate lens.

Brass LugThe lug was milled from brass bar stock and hand-tapped for assembly with the delrin handle. Other processes include boring and milling angled sides.

Delrin HandleThe handle was turned from delrin round stock. One end was machine threaded using the lathe's auto-feed.

silver brazingThe ring and lug were silver-brazed together with an oxyacetylene torch.
